HEATHER B&B is a small family run bed and breakfast with two comfortable twin en suite rooms and has a 3 star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.
On line booking and availability can be seen by clicking on to on line booking. Same day enquiries will often not show the current day when there may well be availability. For same day bookings it is advisable to phone. Also options for arrival are given as 5 PM.- - 6.30 PM. Usually other times can be arranged through either a phone call or exchange of email.
Guests are made welcome and have their own entrance at ground level, where they can easily park for free outside the house.
Heather B&B is situated in a quiet residential area and within easy access to the town centre where there are many restaurants, shops and bars.
Greenock West railway station is also only a 12 minute walk from the B&B, with Glasgow Airport a 30 minute drive away.
Greenock is situated in a picturesque setting with beautiful views over the River Clyde, looking towards the Argyll and Dumbartonshire hills.
It has good ferry connections from nearby towns including great ferry services from Gourock, taking passengers and cars to on a 20 minute crossing to Dunoon in the Highlands. There are also a number of golf courses in the area where non-members can play. Greenock Golf Course is at the top of the street that Heather Bed and Breakfast is on.
There are local swimming pools including the Gourock Outdoor Lido, which is one of only two outdoor salt-water heated pools in Scotland.
There are many beautiful walks along the coast and hills. Both owners David and Heather are members of the Rambler Association and are more that happy to give guests advice on local routes.
